About Us

Katie is a 2019 graduate of the Aveda Institute and co-founder of A Hidden Gem Beauty Bar, a space she helped create to make a meaningful difference in her clients’ lives. Her goal was to build a place where people could feel confident in their skin and be supported, all while giving her the flexibility to spend more time with her family. 

Katie specializes in Laser Hair Removal and Morpheus8 because of the confidence these treatments bring to her clients. She loves seeing them enjoy the long-term benefits of smooth, hair-free skin with Laser Hair Removal and how Morpheus8 leaves them feeling rejuvenated, with firmer, more refreshed skin. The real, lasting results these treatments provide are why Katie is passionate about offering them to clients seeking transformative, non-invasive solutions. 

Katie’s passion for skincare goes beyond just treating the skin; she’s dedicated to helping her clients build lasting confidence. Whether it’s giving someone a fresh, rejuvenated look or supporting their long-term skincare journey, Katie’s focus is always on providing results-driven care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Opening A Hidden Gem Beauty Bar was about creating a space where clients could trust they were receiving the best treatments tailored to their specific needs.

Katie has been married for 21 years, is the proud mom of five amazing kids, and is a Northshore native. When she’s not working, you’ll find her running, cheering her kids on at their sports games, or traveling to explore new places.

Sarah, a 2005 graduate of the Aveda Institute, has nearly 20 years of experience in the skincare industry. After gaining expertise in both plastic surgery and dermatology, she moved from Louisiana to the Houston area in 2012, where she opened and ran her own thriving skincare business, where she was focused on helping clients of all skin types and concerns achieve their healthiest skin. In 2023, she and her family made the move to the Northshore, choosing a slower pace of life to be closer to family and friends.

Sarah’s favorite treatments include microneedling, known for its ability to rejuvenate and smooth the skin, and Hydrofacials, which give that deep, refreshing glow everyone craves. Her goal is to empower her clients by taking the confusion out of skincare through education, while offering personalized treatments that promote healthy, glowing skin and prevent further aging and damage. She’s also the author of Skin Science 101 and the creator of The Skincare Journal—tools that reflect her passion for making skincare simple and accessible for everyone.

Sarah has been married to the love of her life for 17 years and is a proud mom of two. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, exploring the outdoors, or unwinding with a good movie. She is excited to join Olivia and Katie at A Hidden Gem Beauty Bar and bring her nearly two decades of skincare expertise to the Northshore community!
